Japan successfully tests a manned flying car
The concept of a flying car has been around for a long time. And many researchers are working to make it a reality. If you do a YouTube search about this you will find a lot of information related to it. And you will also see how some Flying Car is actually designed.
Meanwhile, a team of Japanese researchers recently conducted a successful experiment on a truly manufactured flying car, using one man to drive the car around a test track in Toyota for about 4 minutes. Developed by Japan’s Skydrive Incorporation, this is the first successful experiment on flying cars in Japanese history.
However, the company has not yet revealed the technical details of how fast it can switch between airplane and car mode. According to Skydrive, in the future to ensure that the vehicle’s safety and technology comply with industry standards they will test more than two cars .
If successful, they will re-test outside Toyota’s track and the company hopes to make it a successful aircraft by 2023. Named the SD-03, the car is powered by eight electric motors, making it the world’s smallest vertical take-off and landing vehicle.
However, as we mentioned above. Skydrive is not the only company in the world doing research on flying cars technology. It is still a difficult task to say exactly which company will provide the first flying car experience that is truly successful in all respects.
