Catch all the important announcements from Apple ‘s event.
Apple concluded the Event , “Time Flies” show, the first fall show this year, and while we’re still waiting for new iPhones, the company has taken the wraps off new Apple Watches and iPads. And like this year’s WWDC, we got all the news through video streaming online; there was no in-person event to mark the launch of new items.
if you’re looking to learn about the biggest developments from the season, read on.
They revealed the Apple Watch Series 6 and has a new health sensor on board: you can monitor the blood oxygen saturation with the new Watch. The Series 6 is also powered by a new S6 chip, which Apple claims is a dual-core processor based on the A13 Bionic iPhone 11.
The Company says the Apple Watch Series 6 screen will get 2.5 times brighter outdoors and it also has an always-on altimeter. The Series 6 comes in a range of different colors, including the blue aluminum case, the gold stainless steel case, the gray stainless steel case, the graphite case, and for the first time, the Company Watch Line Red edition. There are a range of new watch faces, including a Memoji watch face.
They have also introduced a new form of wrist band named the Solo Loop. This is a stretchable silicone loop with no lock. It’s available in various sizes and comes in seven different colours. A braided Solo Loop is also available in five colors.
The Apple Watch Series 6 is starting at $399 for the GPS version. You can pre-order it today, and it’ll be available on Friday.
They also released a low-priced Apple Watch called the Apple Watch SE. It has many of the same features as the Series 6, including the built-in accelerometer, gyroscope, always-on altimeter, and fall detection, but it’s powered by the S5 chip used in last year’s Series 5 model. Notably missing is the always-on show of the Series 5.
The AppleWatch SE starts at $279, and you can pre-order it today before it’s available on Friday. But there’s a still-yet-low-priced version of Apple Watch: Apple will continue to sell Series 3, starting at $199.
NEW APPLE WATCHES WON’T have the USB POWER ADAPTER IN THE Pack
Apple said it was eliminating the USB power adapter from Apple Watch boxes to help reduce its environmental effects. Apple has been widely speculated to withdraw the charger from the boxes of forthcoming iPhones, but the company has finally switched with AppleWatch today.
Apple has introduced a new Family Setup feature that lets you control several Apple Watches from a single iPhone. However, this feature allows AppleWatches to have a cellular connection and will only work with Series 4 or newer models. From an iPhone, you can control the AppleWatches linked contacts will communicate with, as well as the automatic location alerts sent to you.
Apple has released a new iPad Air with a full-screen display, like the iPad Pro business. It has a wider 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display with a resolution of 2360 x 1640. And the company shifted the Touch ID button from the front of the computer to the top of the sleep/wake screen.
The new iPad Air is also fitted with a new Apple-designed chip: the 5 nm A14 Bionic. They state that it has a 6-core CPU, a new 4-core GPU architecture, and a 16-core neural processor. As for cameras, it has the same 12-megapixel rear camera on the iPad Pro but with enhanced video stabilization, and it also has a 7-megapixel front-facing FaceTime HD camera. The Lightning port has also been moved to USB-C.
The new iPad comes in five colors — blue sky, green, silver, gray room, and pink gold — and starts at $599. They say it’s going to be available next month.
They have released a new 8th generation iPad that has the same design as its predecessor, with a wide top and bottom bezels and a Touch ID button on the front. The internals has been modified, as they now have the A12 Bionic chip. It starts at $329, and today you can pre-order it. It will be available on Friday, September 18.
The Company has launched a new premium subscription service called Fitness Plus. While it integrates with iPhones, iPads, and AppleTV, Apple says it’s designed for the AppleWatch. There are 10 different styles of workouts, including yoga, swimming, and dancing, and the company says new workouts will be introduced every week. The service releases before the end of the year. It will cost $9.99 a month, or you can sign up for $79.99 for a full year.
They have introduced innovative “Apple One” subscription packages that put together all of the company’s offerings at various price levels. The cheapest package is $14.95 a month for AppleMusic, AppleTV Plus, AppleArcade, and 50 GB of iCloud data. The Family Plan adds 200 GB of iCloud storage to the lineup for $19.95 a month which can be shared between up to six individuals. The Premium package adds $29.95 a month to AppleNews Plus, Fitness Plus, and 2 TB of iCloud room, which can also be shared with up to six users.
They will announce a range of software updates tomorrow, September 16th, including iOS 14, iPadOS 14, watchOS 7, and tvOS 14. The company also said that all hardware devices released today would have new features onboard.
